I loved the location next to one of the lakes the feed into Victoria Falls. The turndown service was great for preparing your mosquito net and spraying the room to keep the bugs out as much as possible. It had a very real wildlife experience feeling. The people were safe however, I had security walke to my room after dark because of the baboons. I just don't trust baboons. Also it was dark. The only con on the hotel was my shower drain wasn't working properly.

A superb stay in a Riverside room

We stayed two nights at Waterfront Lodge, the first night in a tent and the second night in a Riverside room. So this is a summary of the night in the Riverside room, where we stayed in a luxurious riverside room - with sofas 3 meters from the Zambezi river shore. For an Scandinavian - this is so exotic! Well, it does not happen very much - except some birds and monkeys. We also really recommend the (big) main pool, the SUPERB breakfast buffet and the restaurant with reasonable prices and BIG portions. (Doggybags are offered!). And just think about having breakfast at the Zambezi river shore. The "party sunset cruise" also departs from Waterfront Lodge - which can be convenient, when FREE drinks and food are offered on the cruise. We DEFINITELY recommend Waterfront Lodge!

Perfect bij bezoek aan de watervallen, zeer gastvrij, er staan bordjes dat je uit moet kijken voor de krokodil en de krokodil ligt ook echt in de vijver. Geschikt als uitvalsbasis voor safari's en bezoek aan beide kanten van de Victoria waterval.

A fantastic place to stay for visiting Victoria Falls! I stayed in one of the rooms within the campsite part of the grounds. It was perfect for what I needed - a comfy bed and a clean private bathroom. The basic rooms don't have TVs but it wasn't missed as I spent most of my time on the riverside patio at the restaurant! Having the Safpar booking office right on site was super convenient. They were able to arrange a trusted taxi driver who provided return transport to the falls, as well as airport transfer. It's probably a bit cheaper finding taxis outside of the hotel, but this was definitely a convenient option. The restaurant was fantastic, especially the pizzas 🍕 I would definitely stay again!!

Super location on the Banks of the Zambezi, with spectacular African sunsets as you dine. Great value for money compared to its neighbours! Very friendly attentive staff. Only slight gripe, and it might not have been the Hotels fault was that the WiFi tended to drift in and out. But overall fantastic value for money.

Great staff here. They seem really happy to go the extra mile. The tent was great but the Adventure Village room was even better. Lovely grounds but not overly manicured. Good value.

We really enjoyed the stay? The pictures online don’t do it justice. If you’re looking for average rooms and comfort, this is your place. The desk stuff were a little off but the dining stuff deserves all the praises! Definitely would come back for the food and scenery!
