"We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."

"The rooms were lovely, warm and clean. Having a dog bed and food bowls was a lovely touch. The fridge was useful and we have plenty of space. The bed was very comfy. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried bread!! The staff were amazing, we wished we could have stayed longer! "

"The room was brilliant. Everything we needed was there. The staff member on reception was extremely helpful from the start and whenever we needed anything from the bar it was never too much trouble for her to leave what she was doing to serve us. The young lady on reception told us that we would not be disappointed with the breakfast the following morning and we were definitely not disappointed. This was a leisure break but I have to travel with work regularly and so have experienced many hotels...
