"Booked our stay at the Royal Victoria Hotel for the purpose of hiking up Snowden. This was a great choice as the hotels location was ideal, being a few hundred yards from the start of the Llanberis path. The hotel itself was very clean, staff super friendly, and the room met our needs. Car parking wasn't a problem as the car park has ample space, and as previously mentioned, is a stone throw from the start of the path we would take to the summit. "The whole hotel was spotless. The rooms were quiet, I slept very well, and the food was amazing. We were visiting from Houston, Texas, and would definitely like to visit again. "

"Great and helpful staff, really good beers and food, air con in the bar area which was fantastic after a hot day hiking. Superb location for Moel Siabod. A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these. "The property was clean and the room had nice sea views. The rooms are in a converted house next to the Indian restaurant at the site. They are as mentioned in the description accessed via stairs .. quite a few although was offered help with bags. The main negative factor is the location. We arrived and witnessed an altercation on the street in the mid-afternoon with a women punched in the face. The police attended. We looked for other food options but only fish and chips available nearby....

"Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc."
