"Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "

"Simply beautiful, staff could not do enough to help, check in was easy and quick. Stunning location and a small village a short stroll away. Room was clean and adequate with all tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is continental with other options available to purchase. We had a full Welsh breakfast and avocado on toast and it was amazing. All topped off with stunning views would definitely recommend and visit again."

"We stayed in an apartment with our three children. It was lovely and clean and perfect for us. We had two double beds in the living room and still plenty of space, and a separate bedroom with another double bed and the bathroom. The apartment was really well stocked with cutlery and plates cups etc. No issues with anything the apartment was really tidy and clean. The breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful. "I really enjoyed my one night stay at Y Pengwern. The bar was friendly when we checked in, and when I was shown my room was amazed at how big it was. I was backpacking and there was plenty of room to reorganise my kit, and the bed was large and very comfortable. After a long day's walk we were looking forward to food, and were very happy with the big hearty meals we had in the restaurant.
