Town Houses in Loir-et-Cher

This was an excellent place, beautifully situated, generous and comfortable bedroom, lovely staff, a wonderful breakfast. We arrived very late at night, the hotel had made arrangements for us and there was no difficulty on arrival. Greatly appreciated.

Beautiful French house. Lovely furniture and very comfortable beds. The gardens are full of beautiful trees and flowers. Delicious breakfast and great service. Swimming pool away from the house for weary travellers. A trip back in time and much appreciated.

We absolutely loved our overnight stay at La Ferme de Marpalu. It was just perfect. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. The room was beautiful with everything we needed. Breakfast was a treat with the best croissants we had in our whole two weeks in France. A perfect end to our stay. We would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful setting and Edouard and Alexandra were amazing hosts! They’ve recently refurbished their place to a very high standard and my wife even enjoyed a dip in the swimming pool. Situated right next to a gorgeous chateau, we couldn’t have asked for more for our first night of holiday. If we are travelling this way in the future we shall be sure to stay again.

This independent hotel has been refurbished and offers a great base for visiting Chateau de Chambord and the central Loire Valley. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and air conditioned. Free parking on site and even the option of an EV charger (7KwH). I would also recommend for a stop over too. The level of serve was a rare treat too. Light menu is also available in the evening too.

This place is a little gem, nested in the countryside with a fantastic vibe. The host is extremely kind and clearly made a great work with the place, the room was perfect for my family of 4 and we all loved the stay. The breakfast was definitely the best in our month-long vacation in France. When going again to the Loire valley, I'd definitely be coming back a La Source de Bury to use as a base to visit the many castles in the area.

Bravo! Delightful stay at the Clos Elisa. Comfortable, immaculate, spacious room, smartly decorated in the style of the Loire. A gracious host who served a delicious home made breakfast and was a pleasure to deal with. The pool and spa were immaculate and a lovely way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Rooms were functional and comfortable. Breakfast was really good especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.

Lovely old mill with tranquil surroundings and peaceful environment. Perfect place for stop over or even longer stay. Near by village offered top class cuisine and service from hostess was superb. Highly recommendation to visit and you can enjoy French countryside as it best.

Our hosts Carole and Ousmane were lovely. The property is homely and very comfortable. We were there for 2 nights and had dinner there on the first night as we were out for the second night. They made us lovely home made pizzas which were thoroughly enjoyed in the outdoors with a beautiful bottle of rose wine. Ousmane is the main cook and we tasted some of his home creations in the form of some chilli sauce and some conserves over breakfast. The location is fantastic if you are visiting Zoo...

A very pleasant stay at Les Rives du Cher. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, both speaking excellent English. Our room had a beautiful view from the balcony, and it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel is very picturesque, with pleasant gardens, parking for all rooms, and is only a 10min walk from the town centre, with it's historic buildings, and plenty of places to eat. We will be returning...

Stunning property in a quiet location away from the noise. Very tastefully decorated. Stayed for one night in the summer as a stop over before Le Mans race. Really nice dinner, staff very attentive. Plan on staying again next year.
