"Beautiful hotel grounds with a lovely outdoor pool and hot tub. Every evening there’s a happy hour and free glass of wine from their winery. Short walk to downtown Palisades and local restaurants. Staff is friendly and seem to enjoy working at the hotel. Free hot breakfast has fresh fruit and eggs. My one small complaint is the beds are hard and not very comfortable. "

"The rooms were spacious and well kept. The bathrooms were clean and roomy. The “queen size” beds were definitely NOT Queen size! The beds were tiny and hard, and our toilet flushed like a monster being poked with a stick! Other than that we had a great stay!"

"This place was incredibly iffy. The location is probably the best part of this place. The room didn't feel clean when we came in (specifically the sheets which smelled bad), the staff felt like they didn't like their job, another guest warned us off the bat that there was no warm water, the bathroom didn't even have a lock on it and the gross toilet was incredibly low down, we kept hearing loud noises all night long, and breakfast ends at 9 AM for some reason (maybe they want to spend as little money on food as possible). I wish I'd looked into this place sooner, but it is... cheap, so it's fine for cheap. If you have the money to go elsewhere, I would recommend elsewhere."

"I thought that the warm cookie provided upon check in was unique. Keeping in mind that they just exited what is known by the locals as the "mud season" the carpets and lower 10 - 12 inches of the perimeter interior walls were extremely dirty. Our room had a strong musty odor. Also, after brushing my teeth before going to bed and leaving my toothbrush in the bathroom overnight, I awoke to the bristles of my toothbrush being a pink shade. Researched possible causes finding can be due to an airborne bacteria. Can provide photos of the toothbrush upon request if needed. I was very disappointed especially as I would have left upon discovering these issues had the room rate not been nonrefundable."

"Clean, quiet, comfy beds and pillows, very nice staff, walkable to restaurants and super inexpensive…what else can u ask for?"

"Paid also 300 dollars for the room which i guess is the going rate. There was no coffee maker in the room. There was one in the lobby but that can be inconvenient. Also, the beds sat on oversized frames which both my wife and i banged into several times. I know that is somewhat on me but when it's late and dark it was easy to forget. There were cushions on corners so I'm sure we weren't the only ones."
