Incredible all round experience! The communication thoughout our stay made everything so easy and enjoyable, brilliant hosts! The property is immaculate, every detail was considered and top notch! Our room was probably the best room I've ever stayed in! Would move in permanently!

Excellent hotel - staff very attentive

This place is a little gem. Whilst the building retains it's original character, the rooms are modern and very comfortable. Although small, they had everything we needed. The property was very clean with good quality bedding and towels. Breakfast was three freshly cooked courses unlike anything available in most hotels. Compliments to the chef / owners!

We only had an opportunity to stay one night stay but overall had a very pleasant experience. The room was really nice apart from the wierd location of the television . The bar was "like a real bar " and the lady serving was great ( as was the live entertainment ). Our dining experience has room for improvement although the staff were really nice . Breakfast was "OK" . Good coffee . The owner was extremely friendly and the location and grounds are beautiful . Check in was a little fluffy - I...

Everything was really nice here. The reception staff were particularly welcoming and helpful - a big thumbs-up to Elizabeth and Michael! 😀

Beautifully maintained. No one to meet us on arrival and the restaurant was closed that day (very disappointing), but found key in envelope and called through to house to be told of nearest restaurant. Breakfast was great and hosts were very friendly in the morning

This is a lovely place to stay, the breakfasts are amazing and the gardens are lovely as are the rooms. Jack and Mary Ellen are fantastic hosts and really make you welcome. Can not recommend enough!

A very clean tidy little pl

I would stay in our original accommodation but I found it small so we upgraded to a room with a king bed and fireplace. Glad we did. It was amazing. The views are fantastic on a clear day. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

The hotel was fantastic, really comfortable and recently refurbished, we had plenty of space for a family of four. We ate dinner at the sister hotel opposite- the Honestyle Hostel which was amazing, really homely, and honestly some of the best food we have had in the US!- I really recommend both of these places!

Lovely location hosts very helpful and friendly. Room great parked outside door.

What a wonderful hotel, of our trip to New England, this was probably our biggest (wonderful) surprise. It's just a joyous place. The room was wonderful, the staff in the bar and restaurant were amazing and the location is just truly wonderful. The reception staff when we checked on, were professional, but very disimterested and were more interested in themselves and their chat, but, it was a minor irritation in a wonderful stay. The restaurant serves great food and wine too, was busy, book...
