"Clean and safe"

"Finishing quality is very low and while they are clearly maintaining the property. Just ok, seems to be good enough for them. Restaurant on site was horrible. But the beach view from the room was amazing. Loved the jetted tub in the room and the spa servwas great. There's nothing really wrong with the property but for the price, i will definitely be staying elsewhere next time. Most places at this price are well appointed and finished very nicely to give a luxury feel. This is more like a budget hotel with a few extra amenities charging similar price to very high end competitors."

"Really cool historic small inn feel with a pub downstairs. Rooms are small and rustic, but comfy. Fun old style tub in bathroom. We were over some type of utility room and so there was a repetitive rhythm we heard all night. No ghosts were heard or seen."

"Pleasantly surprised! We stayed in a room with a kitchenette, and it was like a little apartment. It was clean, spacious, modern and very comfortable. Definitely one of the better places we have stayed! The only minor things that could be improved on is the lighting in the living room / kitchen area was pretty dim, and the soap / shower gel / shampoo dispensers in the bathroom did not dispense very much at a time so it was difficult to get a reasonable amount. Those things are not a dealbreaker by any means - just mentioning them to give a little feedback. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Astoria!"
