"The lobby staff was very kind and helpful. We were arriving much later than expected, but were able to go eat at a wonderful Mexican restaurant, that she recommended. Luckily they were open until 11 PM on Friday. The room was nicely cleaned and the mattresses very comfortable. A great nights sleep is key after driving 500 miles. Room was supplied well with toiletries. We didn’t use coffee maker or microwave, but they were there with a refrigerator. The outside gazebo under the huge tree was a beautiful place to sit and enjoy reading. The only negative thing about our stay was there wasn’t a hot breakfast as advertised and our door was hard to close and lock. In their defense they would have sent maintenance to fix it if we would have found the problem before midnight. We didn’t report the problem until the next morning. A very quaint quiet stay in a small Texas town. We would definitely stay here again."
