Comfortable stay, excellent food

Good welcome, comfortable room, could have done with blackout blinds to keep daylight out, dinner very good, but service for breakfast, at different location was slow

We found it to be very clean, spacey, comfortable and great breakfast next door. Staff friendly and helpful. No complaints!

The bedrooms are just off the car park so not boutique but more like motel for convenience stop. The Clive Arms website is misleading as describes boutique and luxury rooms. Overall the staff friendly and rooms clean and comfortable. Just not up to 5* star review standard. Room rate did not include breakfast but instead complimentary tea/filter coffee in shop

Upstairs room, very difficult to get cases up. Went to find staff after 5 pm on day of checking in to find the whole place locked up and no one around. No food or drink. Very disappointing.

Great find

Beautiful place, pub/restaurant with rooms, 4 mins drive from central Ludlow. My room was in a little courtyard at the rear of the premises. Super quiet and with no road noise even with the windows open all night. Very comfortable beds lots of space, a fan to keep cool. Little fridge in room very helpful. Staff were lovely. Breakfast at the farm shop next door was wonderful, excellent sausages!

Lovely Hotel near Ludlow

The room was warm, clean, spacious and comfortable. It was just a shame that miments after booking the hotel called to say the restaurant/bar was closed (Tuesday night)

Issue with wifi and phone signal in room 8 but did seem to improve after a few hours. Disappointed bar not serving drinks to guests at 1040pm on Saturday night when bar shuts at 11pm, was offered a drink to take back to room but wanted to sit outside not in my room. Breakfast at cafe on site fine on day one but day two not great food. Very clean room, disinfected, only enough coffee for one night not two. Smell of drains outside but Overall good stay.

Great stay in Ludlow

The Clive Arms is a really good hotel just outside of Ludlow. The rooms are very pleasant, clean and comfortable. The restaurant/pub/bar is also very nice. Parking is ample and super-convenient. The only criticism is with breakfast next door which was ok but unimaginativ and therefore without much flavour.
