"Had to wait over an hour (after 4 pm check in time) to get our room. The rooftop bar food was terrible to say the least and we ordered 3 different items, all were DISGUSTING. Do not eat there. Room was clean and view was amazing. Hotel is in a great location to everything you want to do in Macon."

"For the price, the hotel was a good stay; however, the receptionist did not ask me if I preferred to stay in a handicap accessible room. I was a little disappointed by the cleanliness of the room, especially the hair everywhere in the bathroom. Two of the towels had long curly hair on them, and were very dingy. That same type of hair was on the floor in the shower. The bed spread had what resembled a blood stain on the end by foot of the bed, which I didn’t see until I’d already slept overnight....

"The pull out mattress was disgusting. We found leftover food from previous guests still in the room. We also found ants in the room. A few of the staff also begrudgingly helped us whenever we asked for something and the breakfast was subpar as well as the pool which was not clean. Save your money and go somewhere else or keep driving until you can make it to a Drury Inn."

"Room was clean, we had an issue with the a/c making a loud buzzing sound and the front desk staff was super helpful and immediately moved us to a new room. The pool was closed, however it was not listed as an amenity when making the reservation so we hadn’t expected it anyway but my kids were super disappointed after seeing it. Overall it was decent for the price. Clean rooms and complementary breakfast"

"Staff were the best crew ! I ran into an issue with Expedias reservation- they were just such a great group of people. They helped me get in touch with Expedias customer service, we finally got everything sorted. They were helpful, patient and friendly."

"It was the last-minute decision to stay here as we were traveling to the beach and needed to spend the night somewhere. The lady that was at the check-in desk was extremely helpful when we got to our rooms after check-in. One of the rooms was not cleaned so I immediately went back downstairs and she was super helpful. Got us into a different room and for the rest of the night it was fine. Breakfast was good the next morning."

"The stay was quiet, but they need to improve the condition of the rooms—especially the bathrooms, which leave much to be desired. Also, the sheets were not clean; we found hair on them."

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Candlewood Suites. I Had the King suite for a week. Very convenient to food and stores. The bed was very comfortable . My daughter slept on the hide a bed and she also was comfortable. All of the staff were very helpful. Lizzy was super friendly and got us checked in after a long flight from Los Angeles. I will be staying again. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants comfort and cleanliness, Thanks."

"Everything was good except the free breakfast. Coffee was great, but most cooked breakfast items were over done. Still it was good to have something for breakfast and, it was free!!"
