"Vila Luz is a great family hotel. We stayed in the upper section which has an extremely heated pool. A bit warm when the temperature is over 30celsius, great when the temperature dropped to 20celcius. The bigger, lower pool is less heated and great when it's very hot. Everything was clean, and the breakfast buffet was good, and well stocked, if a little repetitive. The staff are very friendly and helfpul. "Fabulous location for town, marina and beach access. Staff were intermittently helpful but overall very pleasant. Breakfast was great, much better than some of the reviews. "We absolutely loved our stay at Castelo Guest house. The room was beautiful and even though we didnt book a balcony room there was a shared space that we could drink our morning coffee and look over the beach. The location is ideal just a few minute walk from a lovely beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful and ths room was immaculate. I would recommend this place highly."
