"This is not the Ritz Carlton, but it doesn’t have to be. Super staff, beautiful location on the edge of delightful little bay. Views to die for, pool, better than average breakfast. The furnishings are older, but not worn, and the place is very clean. Great value for money."

"The room was awesome, directly above the sidewalk for people watching and directly on the ocean, could feel the waves crashing, just wonderful. The views are great, the salt water pool with wave crashing in, the blow hole and black sand beach 750meters to the east were fun. Nice safe little village, great inexpensive restaurants, loved the scabbard fish and Sangria."

"Lovely quiet hotel in Machico, short walking distance to the sea front. I enjoyed the breakfast. Staff were very helpful with an issue I had with my passport and helping with my luggage while I went Scuba diving after check out."

"Sercice petit déjeuner beaucoup trop long. 1h 15 pour le petit dejeuner, même si on est en vacances et qu'on prend le temps c'est trop long. Surtout qu'un grande partie de ce temps est consacrée à attendre puisqu'il n'y a pas de buffet. Le concept de servir à table est intéressant, mais tous kes clients etant arrivés en même temps dès 8h, le personnel ne pouvait pas répondre correctement. Il faudrait étaler de 8 à 10h, mais comment (on ne peut pas imoser aux clients...) ? Le prix du séjour est...
