"Hotel was an easy 15 min walk from station and about the same into the historic center. Room was spacious with a balcony and good bathroom. Staff super welcoming. The breakfast had scrambled eggs and a variety of cheeses plus lots of sweets. Would recommend and stay again if in Ferrara."

"Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

"This was our first place we stayed at in Italy and it was the best of all our stays. The property was absolutely beautiful. Located away from the busy, populated areas. "This is not a hotel in the traditional sense – there is no 24-hour reception or room service, but the atmosphere more than makes up for it: warm, welcoming, and genuinely personal, something you rarely find in chain hotels. Breakfast is in true Italian style (not overly abundant), yet with excellent coffee and products from the property’s own farm. The 19th-century mansion was renovated in 2017–18 and features an elevator and a lovely swimming pool that is open 24/7 (unlike many similar properties where the pool is closed at night). Rooms are spacious, with high ceilings on the second floor. Bathrooms are combined and also generously sized. The air conditioning may take a little while to cool the entire room, but it does the job. I can definitely recommend this place if you want to escape the noise of the big city and enjoy the intimate atmosphere of a countryside villa."
