Organisatorische Schwächen

Wir haben kürzlich in den Macmillans Villas übernachtet. Die Unterkunft entsprach weitgehend den Fotos und dem, was wir erwartet hatten. Dennoch gab es einige wichtige Punkte, die unseren Aufenthalt negativ beeinflusst haben. Zunächst funktionierte der Safe nicht, was sehr unpraktisch war. Wir mussten unsere Wertsachen jedes Mal mitnehmen, wenn wir das Haus verließen, was kein besonders sicheres Gefühl vermittelte. Weitaus bedenklicher war jedoch, dass jemand – entweder der Besitzer oder ein Mitarbeiter (es wurde nie klar kommuniziert) – jedesmal während unserer Abwesenheit die Unterkunft betreten hat, ohne uns vorher Bescheid zu geben oder um Erlaubnis zu fragen. Das empfanden wir als sehr eindringlich. Ein solcher Zugang sollte im Vorfeld klar kommuniziert und nur mit Zustimmung der Gäste erfolgen. Außerdem wurden wir, trotz vollständiger Bezahlung vor Anreise, einen Tag vor unserer Abreise erneut aufgefordert, den gesamten Betrag zu bezahlen. Das führte zu unnötiger Verwirrung und Frustration, auch wenn es am Ende geklärt werden konnte. Ein weiterer negativer Punkt war die Schlafqualität: Die Betten waren leider sehr unbequem und haben bei jeder Bewegung laut gequietscht, was den Schlaf deutlich beeinträchtigt hat. Zudem war keine ausreichende Verdunkelung der Schlafzimmer möglich, wodurch es morgens sehr früh schon hell war. Auch die Lage der Villa ist nicht ideal, um Praslin zu erkunden. Zukünftigen Gästen würden wir eher eine Unterkunft in Côte d’Or empfehlen.
