"Wonderful, resort-feels hotel! Since their casino closed down year end 2025, the hotel has become quiet, relaxed and perfect for those who have enough of the glitz of the massive casino-hotels. Largo do Senado and the Ruins of St Paul are a short gentle walk away; there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which makes it east to cross over to Taipa. The lunch buffet at Mistral is good value for money and the Filipino staff are warm and welcoming, with top notch attention and service. The pool area is very relaxing and one can have a great view of the water and the island across. Highly recommended!"

"Very nice hotel with an excellent room. The room bad both a bed and a small couch, which was great. The lounge area curiously lacked a water kettle, requiring myself and other guests to bring down their kettles from their rooms. Hotel is both reasonably close to all the main attractions without the noise and bustle of the tourists gathering at the casinos."
