Comfortable Accommodations for the Price!!!
Hello, I was very satisfied with the room and the updates and remodeling the owners have completed. Yes..the exterior of the building does show its age but they have made the necessary updates to the interior lobby, hallways, and rooms. The shower area could use some additional updates but it functioned and got me clean! Was happy to see the Security cameras throughout the property and exterior too. It was a comfortable nights sleep!

I appreciate the desk service during checkin. I didn’t see anyone on checkout. Several areas require more attention when cleaning: the 3/4 length mirror looked like it was not cleaned in a while and I felt dried streaks on the toilet bowl exterior. Operating the clock was difficult, confusing. And, I found a sock under the arm chair.

Everyone working there were so friendly and helpful. The place is walking distance to where we were going. Nicely remodeled.

Great price and stay!
Very nice and the price is right if you’re going to a show at the Civic Center. The area is very walkable and safe. I would definitely stay here again.

Not what I expected and will not return
No elevator, but I did not ask about that. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 10 with a check-out time of 11. Our key cards were deactivated around 10, also. The upkeep of these rooms has been minimal. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but every time someone moved there was a clanging noise similar to what comes from pipes in an old house.

Check in was quick. Room recently remodeled and in excellent shape. Bed was very comfortable. Room very clean. Breakfast included waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, toast and fruit. Very walkable area. River and lakefront a few blocks away.

The property is located near the police station and the downtown area. Walking distance to food and shopping. The bathroom was in need of cosmetic repair. Toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and the tub floor was stained. The air conditioner never got cold. The ceiling tiles in the hallway have water damage. Most of the issues are cosmetic.

An older motel in the downtown of a very small town, with an odd parking lot. You get basic amenities. Everything you need, but no luxury. You also get to puzzle about when the hotel pictures were taken. They showed it in two different exterior colors. When I got there, I found it painted a third way! Obviously old pictures. Unlike most post pandemic hotels, you get daily room maintenance. I got new towels and my trash emptied EVERY day. I liked my stay there, and the sleepy traffic of their downtown. I understood what I had signed up for, and got exactly that. If you expect the basics, you will be pleased too.

The pictures on the listing are completely inaccurate. There are no outside lights on the property, anywhere. There is no sign that says "Econo-Lodge." I could not make out where the front desk is. The exterior was so sketchy, I did not feel comfortable getting out of my car, just to check in. I went to another motel. Apparently, there are/were a bunch of issues at Econo-Lodge and I was wise to seek accommodations elsewhere.

They gave us a room with a broken shelf, shelf half hanging off the wall. It is a safety hazard and should not be rented until fixed! The bathtub drain would not seal so we could not take a bath.

When i arrived and got checked in. I went to my room 115 and there was an odor of garbage down the hall. Not a pleasant smell. Room was clean and smelled nice. Everything was clean in the room. Tv needs to get HD channels if you have a flat screen tv in the room. I had a good night's sleep overall! You can hear when people slam the doors and there are security cameras installed all down the hallway. Standard contental breakfast. Also was cheap at 60.00 per night vs 500.00 at other 3 or 4 star.

The sheets and pillow cases on the bed were definitely not changed from the last guest. They smelled and were way to wrinkled and soft to be clean. The aluminum/metal frame on the bed was so noisy, every little movement there was huge noises. I didn’t complain as I got there to sleep around 2 am.

They ran out of hot food for the breakfast so our choices were limited, they weren't even half full.

I apologize that they ran low on the food. When we make breakfast we do base it off of our occupancy so that we are not wasting so much food. It also depends on the time of the day as well. If it was getting close to the time breakfast was done with for the day, we try to not make a lot of extra food so that again we are not wasting it. However if you would have asked at the front desk they would have happily made some extra food for you. I do hope you have a great day.

I was here for a dog show the people at the desk where super helpful and the rooms where awsome for the price it was not a beat up old motel it was very noce inside
