"The place was clean. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good with a nice variety. Only negative was that the furniture in our room was in poor condition, mainly the chair at the desk. Everything else was great."

"This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. Not a huge deal, but we were happy to have our room with the bathroom. All in all, a good stay"
