Hotelliin saavuttuamme, meille kerrottiin, että hotelli on remontissa ja omistaja vaihtunut. Hotellia remontoitiin eikä siellä voinut yöpyä. Jouduimme etsimään uuden hotellin ja maksamaan siitä. Varauksesta ei korvattu mitään. Ihmettelen, miksei Ebookers tiedottanut asiasta. Ilman uuden omistajan apua olisimme olleet todella pulassa!!!

Moz guest is a very comfy place within easy reach to all cafes bars place of interest etc , room was very clean with telly , aircon and plenty hot water , nice breakfast in the morning , friendly staff , and the owner Mario is very helpful and informative

Etablissement très propre,très confortable et très bien situé à quelques minutes à pieds de la Casa Ferro , du centre culturel Franco Mozambicain , de la place de l'indépendance , de la superbe Gare etc etc. Mario le Propriétaire Portugais de l'Hôtel vous fournira tous les conseils essentiels pour vous rendre votre séjour à Maputo agréable et sûr ! Il vous commandera vos taxi avec ses chauffeurs de confiance. Il parle très bien Français et est vraiment très sympa.

Un Oasis en medio de Maputo.

Dado que Maputo es un destino para aventureros , las personas que llegan aqui deben saber que esperar un estilo europeo y un barrio bello no es factible, sin embargo este Hostal es un oasis en medio del desierto, bastante bien ubicado, limpio, seguro, cordial y con un gran anfitriòn y administrador que es Mario, se compensa todas las debilidades que tiene Maputo como ciudad.Mi recomendaciòn es de un 100%.

A very pleasant surprise!

The hotel is much better than might be expected by the photos of the hotel or its neighbourhood. Tastefully decorated in a modern and calm, almost Scandinavian style, extremely clean, quiet and comfortable in any way. Breakfast was adequate and good, with the exception of coffee that was an instant mix of coffee and chicory. (This appears to be pretty common in Mozambique, so if you want coffee then you have to bring your own instant coffee.) But the milk to it was hot, so no complaints. A little on the downside: I would expect a little more knowledge from hotel employees about the city, eg transportation facilities.

Very comfortable stay

We only stayed for 1 night as a stop over before going back to SA, but we really enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable, clean, and the owner was very friendly and helped us secure safe parking.

det var rigtig dejligt, god sevice. Personalet var rigtig søde. Eneste minus var chefen, han var flink overfor os, men han opførte sig rigtig grimt overfor Personalet, han råbte ad dem, og skældte dem ud i alles påhør. Vi boede der alt ialt 6 nætter på 3 uger, og chefen ødelagde den gode stemning hver gang

So so hotel

So so, water cut off around 7 am daily, and no tv in the room supposedly included , so, not comfortable for the first night, the owner put tv in the room after our complaint. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful despite we had dificulty of communication in English with them

Il proprietario si ė mostrato apparentemente cordiale ma invece scontroso. Non ci ha consentito di anticipare la colazione di mezz'ora nonostante fossimo gli unici ospiti e discuteva spesso con il personale. Piuttosto caro per lo standard qualitativo offerto.

Review of MozGuest

I came there to stay between connecting flights and was just looking for a cheap place to spend the night. Even though i had booked the room months in advance I got a room where some of the lights did not work and the door would not lock. As I am showed to my room, the guy starts to fix these problems so I have to patiently wait there as they try to fix this. Other than that, the hotel is pretty much what you would expect to get for that price. The staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was very good. I would concider staying there if I was in a similar situation again.

Fine cheaper hotel in bad location

I arrived late at night and it was rather uncomfortable because of the run-down neighborhood and young men around (thieves?). I suggest calling to have them unlock the door before you get out of your taxi. Standing at the door without even a door bell, late, with the taxi driving away was not good. The room was small and clean. Better than expected in this low price range. The air con was cold and the shower was hot. There was no TV in my room though I think normally there is. It was quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was fine but very simple.
