"Bed was really comfortable - I slept really well. All the staff were lovely and helpful."

"Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, excellent shower. Did not have any meals so can’t comment on those. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Only criticism is that the room was too warm for our liking even with the heating off."

"The room staff breakfast all more than good But the down side for me was the tv I'm 64 years old and my hearing is not great now I do understand the volume not going so loud as to disturb the next room but the volume goes from 1 to 100 so why set it at 10 I had to sit right next to it to hear it never been to a hotel that has it set below 20"

"The breakfast was plastic containers filled with cereal and yogurt. Smelled marijuana a couple of times. Doorknob didn’t latch. Woken at 12:30 am by people running up and down the halls and pounding on doors (naked). Place was very clean but tired. No hot water at 9 am. "

"The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still...

"The apartment was ok. Bedside table broken, bin lid wouldn’t shut. Hairs in bedroom and bathroom Floor dusty, needed a good clean! The worst thing was the noise from the surrounding bars and cafes, booming music all day and most of the evening, couldn’t relax or sit outside "

"I have stayed at a few of these hotels for work as I travel around quite regularly. There seems to be a reoccurring theme that the bathrooms have a really horrible drain smell. I would have mentioned this to staff but I dropped my bags off to the room went for dinner come back and it was already around 8:30- 9:00. The second theme is the service in the bar is inconsistent - my drink came quickly and my main came around 20 mins after this .. I had ordered pizza. Also bare in mind I’m a solo...

"Superb stay! Excellent from start to finish. Hotel was spotless, the breakfast superb, staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, room and bed were really comfortable and the complimentary Welsh cakes were the cherry on the cake!! "

"Still in the middle of a major refurbishment but a nice nights stay - bed whilst softer than I am used to was surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom is basic - would suggest changing whatever is used to clean this area as it’s’scent’ just reminded me of public loos. Will probably come back once remake finished…"
