"The building and the staff were great! Such a cute property and a really nice room. Only downside was that it was pretty loud due to traffic noise outside (and an early morning party in the parking lot next door). But the staff and amenities were really top notch, and breakfast was very tasty both days!"

"Biggest issue was parking - pay too much for valet and I parked my own car even… since it is in front of the hotel. Menu was good but limited. I unfortunately stayed when they were industrial cleaning carpets. Pool was closed and staff couldn’t tell me if or when it would open. 3 stars"

"Pool and Hot Tub heater was broken so it was unusable. One of the elevators was broken. Our ice machine was broken. Our room didn't have body wash stocked up which makes me think they didn't check before we checked in. The front desk assigned us the wrong room and the keys didn't work so we had to clarify everything. Paid $25 for valet and they didn't ask for any information and could've given our car to anyone who said it was theirs."

"I was not impressed by the restaurant staff and would not recommend going there. Hit outside spots instead. Hotel was nice and continently located right next to the water taxi that takes you right downtown Norfolk."

"$280 a night for a run down hotel with no hot water in the sink, and only intermittent lukewarm water with low pressure in the shower. Property was run down, there were hairs on the towels, and the sheets didn't look clean. What a ripoff!"

"Location is walking distance to the outlets and there is even a trail you can walk to get you there. The down side to this hotel was they do not have rooms that have not had animals in them. I know it a pet friendly hotel but most hotels still have rooms that have not had animals. I have allergies and I had some difficulty with my allergies in the room."

"The staff was great. The hotel is used mainly as long term housing for low income people. You get what you pay for here. Everyone was nice and there wasn’t any trouble. It was quite at night which was good. If you need a place for one night without any options you can stay. But more than that I would not book"

"It was unnerving to use a kiosk to sign in. Fortunately, a maintenance person was there to let me into the bathroom after being on the road for 6 hours! There was difficultly processing my credit card. My room had a double bed instead of a queen or king, which made sleeping very uncomfortable for me and my husband. The shower leaked onto the floor.
