"You can tell they made an effort to renovate the rooms. This is a motel with pretty cramped rooms, best suited for a solo person or couple, in transit for a couple days. Their renovation efforts are a bit hindered by some maintenance issue, hence the missing star. Still, i would recomend this as a decent motel, suited for singles or couples transiting the area. It's in a middle of quiet nature environement, Rooms have a dual HVAC which can either cool or heat the room, depending on the situation. Nice accomodating receptionist. They also offer a basic continental breakfast. Plenty of free parking."

"Unique experience for someone who normally stays in national chain hotels. The room I stayed in was designed and named after a Vietnam veteran who has passed. This was a happy coincidence since I work with veterans at a VA hospital. Located in the small village of Groton, it was quiet and serene. Nice get away for city dwellers."

"They should give better breakfast, atleast need water to make a tea. We were told to get the water from the tap, and when asked can we fill it here, they said no you should go in your room and fill up."

"We stayed 1 night. The bed was very comfortable like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. The staff was polite and friendly. Be prepared to get early start at continental breakfast, limited supply."
