"A little oasis in Northern Ubud. Just a few rooms set amongst stunning rice paddies and views across the countryside. The room was well maintained and we enjoyed the terrace sitting area, watching the rice harvest take place in front of us. We only stayed one night, but would return for longer next time!"

"The location was excellent The staff was awesome. The breakfast was good (lots of communication struggles with trainees No beach view but short walk to 3 beautiful pools and beaches My only complaint would be the consistent noise from Mosque - 5 times a day Starting at 4:30 AM I think this should be explained on the website…. The only other concern was the outdoor restroom - an outdoor shower would have been ok but shower and commode outdoors wasn’t good. The mosquitos were out and it’s unusual to use the restroom with workers talking maintenance was a little unnerving"

Efa and Indra did far more than drive us around Bali. They shared their stories, answered our countless questions, and taught us about Balinese culture, religion, traditions, and everyday life. They helped us understand their home rather than simply see it. Those conversations turned a beautiful holiday into something deeply meaningful. I genuinely feel I grew as a person through this experience. Thank you also to Boy, Buda, Eddy, and the kitchen team for helping make our stay so special. Lovina will always have a place in my heart, and The Lovina is somewhere I want to return to again and again—not only for the destination, but for the people and how they made us feel.
