"I don’t know how this place has a “luxury” tag on this website. This is not a luxury hotel, it’s severely average. Tired carpet, decor and NOT soundproofed into the hallway, you can hear every little footfall. I was not in their cheapest rooms either! Some of the staff were really lovely at the counter Hotel.com had gold VIP access- free drink but the staff had never heard of that before- luckily the gentleman at the desk honoured this at check out but it was a hassle for all."

"Excellent location. Reception staff very helpful but lacked local information which would have been of help i.e short cuts to the piers. Clean all over the hotel but house keeping lacking in our room, i.e not clean the first day. Furing stay, cutlery and linen napkin and glass wasn't taken away to be cleaned until a day later."

"Check in went normal but the staff didn't smile at all and gave me the impression not welcome. The room door was sag to the floor and made loud noise to close. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and chipped. And the room was a little small. On the bright side, the location of the hotel is superb. Close to train, bus...and across the street from the Queen Victoria Building (QVB). The hotel is pretty clean and eco friendly."
