"The room and property was as shown in the pictures. The bed was comfy. The blankets a bit outdated but goes with the theme/history of the aged hotel. Newly renovated, good a/c, free WiFi, and lots of channels for television watchers. The place was clean and in a very convenient location to shopping, the beach, the Fillmore Theater and the Convention Center. I would absolutely stay again."

"Hotel was great. Good vibe. Great mix of people. Kids, families and younger crowd. Ocean had lots of seaweed but that is nothing the hotel could do about. Also felt safe amd the service around pool was e great plus. Room facing ocean was nice. Bed and pillows wonderful. We come back. "
