"Expensive price for the room and amenities. I would have drove to anorher if not so late"

"This place was not at all as advertised. We ended up not staying and I was assured I would get a full refund. That said, I have not seen a single cent returned yet. So the skinny of why rate this place so poorly; I'm a fairly frequent traveler and I can say without hesitation that this motel was the worst I have ever seen. It was not at all as pictured. Upon parking, I found what appeared to be homeless people loitering under the walkway overhangs. When reaching the checkin desk, the clerk was nice and seemed as though she was trying to offer me subtle warning about the motel quality as she gave me a room key. As my kids and I stepped off the elevator to the 3rd floor we made our way to the room.thr hallway was dank and dirty. When entering the room, we found dirty sheets on unmade beds, written was a word that describes a lady of the night on headboard of one of the beds, a filthy bathroom that most certainly had not been cleaned or a minimum, flushed after the last user emptied their bowels, and to top it off, a set of stick on eyelashes were stuck on the mirror. I did not check for bedbugs but, based on what we had just walked into, I have little doubt, they were lurking about. We left the room, went back to the check in desk. The clerk was not surprised and offended an apology and asked if we would like to try another room, she gave us key card and up the second floor we went. The second room was worse. We stayed somewhere else. DO NOT BOOK!!!!!!"

"Nice stay. They exceed in a lot of areas. Only concern was sleeping in a smoky room. Casino no smoke odors. Room had been smoked in and more than once. Wake up at night and it’s the first thing you smell. Wake up in morn and first thing you smells. Come back to room after being out and first thing you smell. It gets increased in clothes and luggage. Too bad ppl smoke in a non smoking room and hotel cannot get smoke Out once it’s in furniture and carpet and drapes and wallpaper. "

"The hotel is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. The parking was easy, but I suspect that is because of the time of year (off season), the parking lot seems small for the amount of rooms. The breakfast was decent and had good options, be aware that there is no hot food served. Mainly bagles, toast cereal, fruit and various breakfast drinks like juice and coffee. The condition of the hotel showed a bit of ware and tear. Our shower door kept coming off the track and the kind man at the front dest gave us another room. It does look like they are working on updates as one of the larger event rooms was filled with contractor materials. The location was fantastic, close to shops, restaurants and a quick walk to the beach. Over all my kids and I were very happy and would stay again! "
