"After booking I called ahead and asked for a special requests and I was accommodated to the best of the front desk could do. Alex was very helpful and very sweet. The room was ok but some things looked like it could’ve been kept better or fixed. For example, the window covering was a pulled down shade that was broken. I’m not use to a nice hotel or hotel in general that doesn’t have curtains. Stains on the sofa that could have been cleaned and a darkened closet and dressing area with no lighting to see the safe or clothing even with all lights on. No robe or slippers like the Hyatt I remember. The pool was out of commission and the advertising says restaurant and bar but it’s really not. More like a gas station mini bar. Luckily I have only booked for one night by. Breakfast was highlight. We got there in time but seating was underwhelming due to a collage team was in for a game. I was scared I was gonna hear them up playing all night as I recalled having to deal with at another hotel but they were very respectful young men."

"This location has declined over the past couple of years. There’s an odd “urine” smell in the hallways now. Not as clean or well maintained as it used to be. Housekeepers do not speak English and apparently do not understand the “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door and kept coming in. This hotel is very “basic.” The breakfast offerings are mediocre at best. The beds are comfortable. Rooms with a kitchenette do have an apartment size refrigerator and glasses, plates and flatware. No frills but decent."

"The property is lovely, and we enjoyed our time there. The food was a highlight. Breakfast was excellent, the buffalo at Antlers was perfect, and the barbecue we had at the bar was easily top ten. The service didn’t match the food. Our breakfast waitress seemed overwhelmed, and the language barrier made it difficult to communicate. The service at Antlers and the bar was also inattentive and disorganized. We did notice another waiter at Antlers who was friendly and engaging with everyone; we wished he had been ours. The extra charges were frustrating. Paying $25 to self-park or $50 for valet felt excessive on top of an already expensive stay. We had a great time overall, but better service and fewer added fees would make this place a perfect ten. We probably could have taken a trip to Mexico for less."
