I come to Lamesa pretty often and after staying here I will NEVER stay anywhere else. The owners are two of the best people I have ever met in my life. They were not only helpful and accommodating but comforting and supportive. They stayed on the phone with me until my room was ready and made me feel like a member of their family. Consider yourself lucky to stay here and know this gem of a couple!

Before my stay I ck reviews and one stand out when he said "don't let the outside fool you". So I took my chance and plus the price was reasonable made it fit in my budget I'm so glad I took that chance I will be back again next year 🥰 I had a wonderful stay and surprise how the picture show the rooms what you are going to get not look like they others with fake pictures like other motels does. My husband and daughter was very happy with my pick ☺️

Very good.

Very quiet & safe. Motel was old, but well maintained. Room exceptionally clean & comfortable. Glad I had my own pillow! Staff Very Friendly & helpful. Would choose to stay here again.

Little gem in the middle of nowhere!

Girlfriend and I stopped here on our week-long road trip from Atlanta to Los Angeles. The drive from San Antonio to Santa Fe being too long, we decided to stop halfway in Lamesa. How lucky we were to have stumbled upon Lamesa Motel and its wonderful owners! The husband gave us a call a few hours after check-in to make sure we were still coming and told us to take our time and not to rush, that he'd be available any time. When we arrived, we were greeted by husband and wife who turned out to be ex-Canadians like us! They could not have been more accommodating! The room we stayed in was newly renovated, spotless and perfect for our one-night stay. Would definitely stay again if we're in that part of the country again!

Excellent!!!

The couple that run the Lamesa Motel are wonderful and extremely friendly!! I'd read reviews saying they treat you like family and that is absolutely true! Even their dog, Baaj, was really friendly. Our 4 year old son loved Baaj. Don't let the area this motel is in turn you away. The place felt safe and secure, the room was very clean and had been recently remodeled. It was perfect for the one night we stayed, complete with mini fridge and microwave. Wish we could've stayed longer but will DEFINITELY stay again if we're in the area. :)

This is a motel perfect for what we needed. We were coming through town on a road trip and just needed a place to sleep for the evening. The husband and wife owner team literally treated us like family from the moment we arrived. I even got a hug when leaving after checkout. :-) The room was clean and comfortable and had free wifi. If I ever find myself in the area in the future I will without hesitation stay here again!

Don't judge a book by its cover!

When I first saw the property, I nearly left. I AM GLAD I STAYED! The rooms are newly renovated and clean and comfortable. The owners are still in the planning stage for exterior modernization. They are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. I and my traveling K9 partner will definitley stay ghere again!

Amazing!!!

It was an amazing experience to stay at Lamesa Motel. The proprietors (the spouse couple) are two of the great people we have ever met. They treated us as their family members. I am sure they will treat you as the same if you stop by for the night. The room was spotless!

A home away from home

I'm normally really hesitant about staying in small towns by myself ,but lamesa motel was amazing. You definitely cannot judge a book by its cover on this one. It's family owned and operated and they will make you feel like family as well. My room was recently remodeled. Nice comfortable King size bed and a standup shower! (which I personally love). The room has a flatscreen tv with a variety of channels, a mini fridge and a microwave. And the price was beautiful. I would highly recommend.

Great, caring owners and a very resonable price

It was like staying with family. Gambel and Jeet were warm and welcoming, and even sent us off with Indian tea! The motel is a quaint, older place that they are renovating and doing an excellent job. The room was very clean, with a good mattress and plenty of hot water, and it was quiet and felt safe. Anything we needed was there immediately. We plan to go back!
