  • Quite amazing to see this cemetery. Milan's wealthy families seemed to try and top each other by building large tombs often decorated with plenty of sculptures of angels, putti, sphinx or other figures. All kind of architectural styles were used, from Egyptian, neo-Roman and Byzantine over neo-Gothic to more modern styles such as Art Nouveau, modernist and even post-modern. The sheer number of different works of art by often highly acclaimed artists resulted in an interesting open air museum, where visitors are easily overwhelmed by the large number of monumental mausoleums and sculptures. Fortunately placards installed on the grounds of the cemetery that show an overview of the most spectacular and most famous graves.

Location is fine, in fact well connected with public transport. The apartment is in an old building, the heating was fine but rooms were not very clean. Friendly staff and efficient communication.

Enjoyable stay with Italian way

We stayed here for 6 nights. Apartment as described and photographed. We arranged to meet service rep at the apartment as I was not keen to sign off on the lease agreement until we had seen the apartment. Italian way staff very accommodating re this. A very comfortable bed, plenty of space for clothing etc. full fridge with freezer. Kitchen cupboards are high up so difficult to reach if you are on the short side. Shower recess is very small. Lift to 4th level. Fairly typical Italian apartment block with inner court yard and external walkways to entry door. Overall a very pleasant stay. Close to Garibaldi station for regional trains and metro. Buses and trams at the end of the street. Supermarket across the street. Plenty of restaurants near by.

Waste of Time and bad Experience

First thing, getting the keys was the worst. It is not convenient to get the keys from the Central Station. Calling more than 20 times to get through! No signal in the tv, no channels. Had to search the apartment to find the internet because it was turned off. Overall a very tiresome experience.

In relation to the accommodation, it was good, however, the location was a bit far from the metro. Another detail that I did not understand was the cost of € 35.00 plus the stay !!!!!

隣近所含めミラノの普通のアパート

部屋に入るには、ミラノ中央駅にある貸しアパート専用受付でのやり取り（イタリア語、英語、ドイツ語は大丈夫でした）、自力での指定された住所までの移動（徒歩25分ほど）、全く普通のイタリアの集合住宅の一部屋までの正面扉、エレベーター、自室の二重鍵を突破するプロセスが必要です。チェックイン開始から部屋に荷物を下ろすまで、手早く済んでも1時間以上かかります。部屋は集合住宅の一室で、この入口とエレベーターを使う場所にはこの短期貸しアパート会社の物件は他にないようで、隣のオバチャンに挨拶されたりしますので、適当に対応せねばなりません。チェックイン時に渡される英語とイタリア語の指示書はあるものの、実際にどこに鍵穴があるか、どうやったらエレベーターが動くか、判らないことは言葉が分かろうが判るまいがどんどん隣近所に尋ねればならないなど、それなりに欧州での都市アパート生活に慣れがないとちょっとハードルは高いかも。 なお、部屋に洗濯機はありますが、乾燥は出来ないタイプです。部屋にあるハンガーをありったけ引っ張り出し、寝室を28度くらいまで温め、部屋で干すしかありませんでした。
