"Tent was comfy and close to the amenities, was very quiet when we were there so had no issue with sound from other campers. Only thing our tent was right under a tree that the fruit bats like so maybe request a tent away from trees. I am sure they are harmless but they flew pretty close to us and the tent and was a bit scary when it was dark lol. And bats peeing and pooping on the tent was a bit gross. Kitchen area seemed well equipped and clean, even had a toaster, kettle and microwave ! We didnt experience any tours or the movie theater but we did have some campfire time. The bar/cafes shut early so be prepared and order some beer to go and food if you haven’t brought any. Shame they don’t stay open later and maybe have some music. "

"Fabulous location, right in the heart of Sydney’s Darling Harbour. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy. Super comfortable beds and amazing views over the harbour. Loads of food outlets at your doorstep as well as in-house dining which was incredible. Only downfall was the nightlife noise! "

"I have never stayed at the Ibis before and probably won’t after this visit, the only nice thing was the staff. Rooms are outdated and although have been cleaned the wear and tear makes it less than desirable. Outlets for power were faulty and loose, with most feeling dodgy. Shower was not built on a slant so the water pools around you which explains why the seal at the bottom is blackening. There is also a gap between the shower door, it won’t fully close, leaving the floor outside to get substantially wet. The gym was lack lustre and you had to walk through the breakfast dining area to get to it, equipment is old and only 4 machines, no free weights to lift. There was also no sanitizer for the equipment, I had to ask the staff at the restaurant for sanitizer but I had to return the bottle after, defeating the purpose. "

"We payed $590 for one night twin bed room for a view of a brick wall out our window. It’s Darling harbour park royal not a backpackers. Very poor!!!!!!!!! "
