Citadines Namba Osaka

8/10 Good

"The hotel is a nice property and the rooms are nice. The only thing I didn’t like was having to step up and down to get in and out of the bathroom and it was also quite a big step to get in and out of the bathtub/shower. The breakfast buffet was average."

Toyoko Inn Osaka Namba

10/10 Excellent

"Toyoko Inn provides laundromat and dryer services just within their hotel, as well as free complimentary breakfast and 24/7 coffee/tea available with your stay. The staff are always welcoming and helpful in assisting with any issues faced — whether it be concerning the hotel or my itinerary for the day, they were able to assist with my queries the best they could. The rooms themselves were okay, as the space of the room made it quite cramped to walk around. The bed mattress was very hard, and the pillows were too soft, so there were some nights where I woke up with a strained neck and shoulders. Otherwise, it was an overall great stay :)."

Hiyori Hotel Osaka Namba Station

10/10 Excellent

"I enjoyed my solo four night stay! I had a comfortable and clean room in a convenient location, and the highlight for me was the breakfast buffet in the mornings. Pros: - Comfortable bed - Room felt spacious enough, though my luggage is only carry-on sized so I had no difficulty with keeping it open in a corner - Fully blackout blinds - The provided shampoo (Pola) is really nice for smoothing your hair - Breakfast buffet spread has lots of options, some being staple and some being rotated so that there’s always something new to try - About 10-15 min walking distance to station, Dotonbori, shopping streets Cons: - The shower room tiles had some accumulated grime - The sound proofing ocassionally failed and I could hear other people moving or talking in their room or in the hallway - One of the washing machines appears to have some dark dirt/mold buildup in one of its inner components"
