"Clean quiet excellent breakfast"

"the shower was akward to use as I called the front desk to find the water must be running in order to pull down on a lever to allow water to reach the shower. THey may want to update these valves that are confusing to use. Also the grab bar in our bath was loose. Other wise our stay was good, a very nice complimentary breakfast that gave many choices for each traveler. Overall, our stay was pleasant. i would recommend as a short stay option, however I would not book thru Expedia again."

"We have stayed here often and have never been disappointed. Rooms and property are always spotless. Parking and access to local restaurants is great. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are always clean. Breakfast is also great with special items like sausage gravy and biscuits, delicious danish, waffles as well as usual breakfast items. Overall experience is excellent. "

"Checked in a little late. We only came for an event so did not spend an entire day. Within two minutes, there was a power outage. I overheard guests coming back from the front desk share that it's because of "power usage." My daughter and i got dressed and used only the light in the bathroom (Only area that had power interestingly) then the power came back on. Steps leading to the second floor are taped up. The room smelled old, can't really find the word to describe it. When we tried taking a...

"They made a birthday cake for my son last minute and were so kind to us. Everyone there was helpful and kind. The server at breakfast got a candle to put on his breakfast and sang. Happy birthday. It’s also a beautiful property and the kids enjoyed the obstacle course in the back."

"Room 400's bathtub had black organic growth all along the end of the tub near the drain. Very visible. Not sure why it has not been removed. The bath towels were small. The rest of the room was clean. Overall, the hotel was nice for a dated building. It is ready for a renovation. Staff was very nice. The breakfast was typical free breakfast."

"Room was clean. Felt room lacked amenities for a hotel of this stature. If you’re handicapped this is not the place for you. Way too many stairs. Difficult to get to your room. Grounds lovely. Breakfast brunch ok. Would have preferred a real restaurant with ala carte ordering. Felt staff could’ve been more forthcoming about the breakfast brunch and the restaurant. We discovered what we needed to know on our own. Not sure if I’d stay here again."
