"I highly recommend this hotel. My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in September. It was the perfect base for visiting Montreal (including the World Cycling Championships). Our overall trip was wonderful.
The hotel was clean and up to date. The free continental breakfast had a great selection of croissants, muffins, yogurts, apples, bananas and cereal.
We drove here from Massachusetts, parked our car in the hotel parking lot, and never moved it. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk to the Longueuil Metro station. From there it was a quick ride to into Montreal. We spent the days sightseeing, then ate dinner at the outdoor cafes in Old Montreal every night (take the Champs de Mars metro stop). The food was great and very reasonably priced for a major city. In addition, we paid with USD (via our credit card) which reduced the restaurant bills by 28% (since the USD was worth $1.38 Canadian at the time).
If you buy a Metro pass be aware that Longueuil is in Zone B (while Montreal is Zone A), so you need a pass/ticket that covers both zones. It was very easy to buy the pass at a kiosk in the Metro station, or from a worker at the ticket booth."
