"There was a rusted-through hole in the sink that dumped water all over the floor. There were weird black stains on the mirror. When I arrived in my room, the phone was flashing red so I called the front desk to ask why. "Just ignore it," they said. Ignore a red flashing light next to my head while I try to sleep?? I wound up unplugging the phone. I could go on, but bottom line is this hotel is too much of a wreck."

"I made the reservation here as a bridge stop on my way into the Catskill Mountain for a few days and I'm so glad I did. It's remote -- the town of Claryville is like much of the Catskill mountains -- I was in Phonecia for several days last summer -- in that towns seem to lack a town center or even a substantive grocery store or restaurants. "Everything was excellent"

"The breakfast was horrible. Both juice machines were not working, the yogurt was past due and the coffee machine had not been cleaned in a while. The staff on check in were professional, however the staff the next morning on check out were rude and seemed to be put out by having to answer simple questions. The room appeared clean on check in. The following morning we noticed a large bug/insect infestation in one corner. "

"Did you ever want to experience what it would be like to stay at a bed in breakfast? Well this is the place to go! So quaint and cute! Located right in the heart of the town of Montgomery. Plenty of things to walk to and see in the area. Brianna the manager was wonderful. Very helpful and informative. The breakfast choices were delicious. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

"The road leading to the hotel was filled with potholes and very treacherous. It could do damage to a car if driver didn’t go at a snail’s pace as the holes were unavoidable."

"The bed was awful sunken in on the sides and middle. The sheets were dirty and the floor and chair was stained. I accidentally took off my socks and walked on that floor the developed an itch on my foot. I was afraid something would crawl on me and bite me so I slept with the lights on."

"This is the vintage-looking quaint motel you pass at the edge of a town on the two lane and think, "Wonder what that place is like?" Most of the time those businesses are on the downside of their existence and not that appealing. The Fairbridge Inn is different. Neat, clean, quiet and well kept with a comfortable bed and room.. "The hotel was advertised to have a 24 hour desk. Had to make a call and wait for someone to get checked in. The hotel was in need of major maintenance and repairs. It actually should not be open until the remodel was completed. TV didn’t work. No hair dryer. There were missing drawers. Flooring and walls in need of replacement. Burn marks on the bedding and a strong stale cigarette smoke in the air. I went to check out at 9am the next am, scheduled time for the front desk to open, and no one...
