"We booked this B&B for one night but wish we'd stayed longer. Our hosts, Katerina and Valerio were magnificent in every way. Our room and facilities were perfect. You can step out of the bedroom into a lovely garden/patio with tables and chairs where you can watch the sun go down over the mountains. Excellent breakfast too. There are a couple of restaurants a short walk away..... We went to the one opposite the church. The food was amazing... especially if you like Porcini mushrooms! This place...

"The breakfasts are anazing, the room is nice, but a weird shape. The view is great, especially at the sunny and a bit if clouds weather. The heating is AC, so it takes time to warm up te room, the water takes quite some time to heat (3-5 min of cold water before hot water arrives). The bad is a nice size, nut for my 1.9 meters it was barely enough if I use a small pillow. So beds must be 1.9-2m, yake it into account. Atllthough, it is wide wnough to fit me diagonally + my loved one."

Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend, mehrsprachig und hatte immer ein nettes Wort sowie ein Lächeln für die Gäste. Auch das Frühstücksbuffett hat uns gut gefallen. Top. Weiter so. "Hotel is nice enough and clean with good lake views and just a quick walk to the water. It is further away from the station, boats and most shops but the panoramic walk between is very nice. I booked this hotel specifically partly due to the mentioned airport shuttle for a surcharge listed on expedia which does not exist. They offered to call a taxi for €180 which is hardly a "surcharge". Also I was frustrated by the lack of coffee or kettle in room; there was a breakfast available but hours...

"The hotel is absolutely beautiful & well maintained in every detail. Kudos to the gardening staff for the magnificent surroundings bathed in the scent of jasmine. Spa experience (massage & facial) was excellent. My lake view superior room was lovely, clean. I’d think twice before staying here again for 1 reason: the sub-standard food. We dined at Il Borromeo 3 times & none of our dishes were hot nor prepared as ordered. They came out of the kitchen too quickly after ordering so we gathered they...

"We had the first floor suite or mini apartment with fridge (freezer box above it) microwave, kettle, full size dishwasher and sink. They kindly left us a bottle of red wine and biscuits and two bottles of water. We went to Conad supermarket which wasn’t far by car, we are driving. Or Carrefour express within walking distance in town. Many restaurants locally. Being British we don’t like to eat late. We can recommend Centrale as they were always busy and cooked all day. "Nice Hotel & helpful staff. Included breakfast was nice with breads, yogurt, fresh fruits, cold cereal , cold cuts etc. Pool is very small. Good location & rooms w/balcony have nice view of the lake or there is a seating area on roof as well"

"Come here if you'd like to find out what great Italian home cooking tastes like. We had two diners here, and regret we didn't have more. The minestrone soup, lasagna and aubergine Parm are so fresh and refreshing, even though I'm used to the great Italian restaurants in Manhattan and Brooklyn. It's nice to have a comforting dinner overlooking the lake, after a day of sight seeing, and finishing with home made apple cake and ice cream or rum with chocolate."
