"Had a great one-night stay! Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the amenities. The room was clean and cozy. The pool, sauna, and workout facilities seemed very clean, although we did not have the time to use them. Kind staff and easy parking in a great location in Stowe!"

"Field Guide Lodge is in a perfect location, situated on the Mountain Road (otw to Smuggler’s Notch) and an easy walk to downtown. The host, Zane, was kind, resourceful, and helpful. My daughter and i rented a king suite. In a 3-night stay, there was no room service (coffee service and bathrooms not refreshed/replenished). Our room held an odor from a backed sewer line, or possibly, gas line. Zane did his best. Hallways in our building were too dark (hard to see key hole to door). BUT…Good vibe, good reliable continental breakfast. We loved the continuous fire in the pit just outside the bar area. Room was comfortable, spacious, and the fireplace/balcony were both nice. We would consider staying again."
