Maldron Hotel Portlaoise

Maldron Hotel Portlaoise

10/10 Excellent
"Stayed in a family room, a good size with standard hotel room facilities. Breakfast offering was very good, The only downside was navigating swipe key system for hotel lifts, it's not easy or obvious... however, staff on site were very helpful. Hotel is in a very good location, specifically if you're in a car and navigating to and from places like Kilkenny."

Kildare House Hotel

"Though the rooms have definitely not been renovated in quite some time, the property was clean and well maintained with fun decor throughout. Though I would have appreciated a small outdoor seating area or garden, the restaurant attached to the hotel made up for that and then some. The staff at the hotel and Gallops restaurant were fantastic and the food there was incredible. Best dinner I’ve had in a while!"

The Keadeen Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Keadeen Hotel is located on the south edge of Newbridge close to the Curragh racecourse. With plenty of parking and immaculate gardens the hotel looks stunning. Reception staff very friendly and helpful as are all the staff we encountered. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options and really tasty. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious but such big portions. We had the bridal suite as an upgrade and it was out of this world. So clean. The only problem we had was a drop in water pressure and on two occasions there was no water in the room. We were offered a different room but it didn’t affect us much and the staff quickly stocked us with bottle water. The pool, jacuzzi and steam rooms were an added bonus. I will definitely return to this grand hotel."
