"Our family stayed at Silkari Lagoons in Port Douglas recently and overall had a very enjoyable time. The setting is surrounded by lush gardens, lagoon-style pools (six of them), and relaxing BBQ areas make it feels like a tropical resort. The room was spacious, we had a dual key 3 bedroom, it was well‑equipped with a kitchenette and laundry facilities, which was really handy. "The property was beautiful! It was the perfect place to disconnect, yet so close to shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Great spot, with really nice pool. Also has a cute pond with barramundi in it. Room was nice and big, fridge worked well. Super convenient location to get into town and also visit the surrounds. On the older side but that made the price very good. We managed to avoid the timeshare/club sales pitch and thry didnt hound us like some people mention, just say no you are busy "

"Beautiful pools, the water was warm with so much space for everyone to enjoy. The property is huge however and it’s a fair way to walk from the room to anywhere really. It would also be nicer if there were more things for the kids to do and evening activities to make it more lively."

"Excellent position overlooking Four Mile Beach, while being an easy walk to the shopping area. Good size 1 bedroom suite with a great balcony. The swimming pool area is very good. Just a couple of things that could be improved - the floors needed a really good clean and there were quite a few cobwebs around the ceiling and entry doorway. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again."

Housekeeping was perfect. Special mention to Santiago, who immediately made us feel welcomed on our first day and offered recommendations of places to eat which were also amazing. Will definitely stay at Peppers Port Douglas again. "

"This is our second time in a swim out room and we love it. The pool access is a bonus, proximity to town, the marina and the beach is also a plus for us. Easy to walk everywhere means we didn’t need a car for the time we were there."

"Really impressed with Silkari Reflections! Great location walking distance to centre of town and 4 mile beach is a few steps away. The pool area could do with a bit of TLC but the apartment was well equipped and great size for a family. Kitchen has everything you could need. Communication in the lead up to check in was great. Special thanks to Emma and Crystal for organising the room to be ready for an early checkin- this made a trip so much easier with a toddler. "
