Nice hotel with very comfortable bed and good shower.
Single use plates / cutlery / cups at breakfast which seems environmentally irresponsible, though at least the plates were paper and not polystyrene and there were recycling facilities.

I made a last-minute booking at the Delta Hotel in Chesapeake for one night in order to attend a family event in the area. The staff and service were impeccable, the room very clean, and we appreciate that they were able to accommodate a late check-out until 1 pm.

A lovely hotel, lovely room. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy. That's what you want in a stay, and it definitely ticked all those boxes.
On a personal note the gentleman running the breakfast buffet was fantastic. He had a great sense of personal and professional pride. He was a credit to the hotel. He engaged with our daughter and gave her a couple of cookies for the car journey. Little things but they make such a big impression. The two days wer were there he showed a real interest and...
