This is a traditional hotel in the best sense of the word, local history is writ large, as well as excellent service. Everything feels friendly and natural - a truly relaxing experience where you feel in good hands throughout.

Pretty good
Pretty good hotel in the traditional style. Basic rooms and furnishings, pretty tired bed/bedding. Very friendly and amenable staff and nice breakfast room/buffet. Fair value for money overall

Adorable stay close to transit for Munich.
I booked this lovely hotel the night before we arrived. I was looking for a place with free parking. Their lot is being renovated, but they have another lot around the corner with a covered walkway leading to the hotel so it was very easy. Check in was a breeze, they give you a real key attached to an adorable keychain. The hotel has many antiques on display so it’s fun to take some time to look at things on the way to your room. Room was very clean. Lots of space. Excellent water pressure and the bed was comfortable. My rate included breakfast and it was wonderful. They will make you some eggs and bacon in addition to the things put out for the buffet. The service was outstanding. You can buy a transit pass right at the reception desk. Bus stop right outside, but walking to the train station wasn’t bad either. Very happy with our visit.

Overall it was a nice hotel.looks like a museum. Our room was not big but acceptable. Room was clean and neat.reception lady was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok and waitress was very nice and gave good serivce. There were so many restaurants nearby.

Romantik Hotel was outstanding in every category. Owner and staff made the stay warm and inviting. Breakfast and dinners provided excellent choices and delicious food. Hotel is historic and filled with many antiques to observe and enjoy. Spacious rooms make for an extra comfortable stay. Located in the center of town, it is ideal for the tourist.

I loved the authenticity of German hospitality, decor, displays of ancestors portraits and relics and presentation of breakfast buffet. Quaint and cozy. I could excuse the creaky floors knowing that there were many years past that the hotel was open to guests.

Clean and comfortable
The owners and staff clearly have a great deal of pride in this facility. The rooms are comfortable, very quiet (double windows block street noise) and immaculately clean. The staff is warm and helpful and the breakfast buffet offers an exceptional variety. Reasonable room rates, free parking and an easy walk to the S-bahn make this a perfect Munich-adjacent spot.

A world class hotel
Fantastical hotel! Outstanding service. Front desk staff was terrific and extremely helpful and friendly. Would come back here again in a flash. Simply outstanding. And compares favorably to any luxury hotel in the world. Restaurant provided excellent German and continental cuisine.

Staff was great from the moment we checked in. They even probably ice for my dad.usually no European hotel have ice.it was great experience and close to Oktoberfest to take the bus or train if you want to drink.

A lovely experience!
This was our first time in Furstenfelbruck. The hotel was conveniently on the village strip where we could walk to the butcher, baker and cafe. Lots a clothing shops were around as well. We walked through the park to the Abby and walked to town hall as well. We were fortunate enough to dine at the hotel restaurant that served authentic Bavarian food because some one had cancelled a reservation at the last minute. Would definitely recommend making dinner reservations there. The hotel was clean and interesting to walk through as it has been in the same family for hundreds of years and there are family portraits throughout dating as far back as 1000! There is also religious art and sculptures throughout. Being from the US, we gained a perspective of how long this village has been around. We arrived by train and got a taxi to the hotel door. It cost about $10 or less to get there by taxi and was about 5 minutes away. While in Furstenfelbruck, we walked around and then went to a rental car business to rent a car and begin our journey through the Alps! Be sure to get a GPS with your rental car- it was a great help and we didn't have to use our GPS data. In addition, it beeped everytime the speed limit changed.

Historic hotel in a small town
We were travelling the Romantic Road and wanted to hit some of the smaller towns along the way, instead of just staying at the usual. This was a great choice (allows for day trips to Munich) and we are very glad we stayed. The hotel is historic and very nice. The restaurant was closed as we were there in February, but the breakfast was nice.

A historic small family owned hotel worth visiting
Our 1 night stay was perfect. We were the only guests in the hotel during this single night & the hotel staff as arranged a 5 star private breakfast for us. This was the perfect ending to our 4th honey moon trip right before we drove to the airport. Thank you for that. Keep it up.

Charming hotel outside of Munich
The Romantik Hotel zur Post is a beautiful hotel that has a lot of European character. The halls are lined with elegantly framed portraits of people from the past. The rooms are beautifully decorated with nice window treatments, furniture and comfortable beds. Plus, the hotel boasts real doors with real keys. Be warned, though, my son accidentally locked my mom (his grandma) in the room! I'd highly recommend this hotel if you don't mind staying about 30 minutes from Munich.

Outside of Munich
We chose the Hotel Post because we had stayed here 10yrs earlier and it was convenient to nearby family. It was not a particular destination on our trip outside of convenience. But for those wanting access to Munich without staying in Munich, this hotel would be a good choice. The only ding for the room and overall rating was that it was a 3-bed room, all that was available...so we gave up room space for a bed we didn't need.

The hotel inside looks like a palace, with wide stairecases and a lot of paintings on the walls. It is located in a very charmning small town close to Munich (30 min). The room itself was small , but comfortable. We were surprised to find no safe in the room. Other then that everything was fine.

Very nice place and friendly staff
Very friendly staff, they make you feel welcome from the first moment. My room was nicely decorated, spaceous and comfortable. The paintings and sculptures in the hallways give a nice atmosphere. I'll certainly stay there again if the business brings me to the area again.

Good Value Close to Munich
With no moderate priced rooms remaining in Munich, we ended up here in Fuerstnfeldbruck. It would have been a good choice to avoid Munich traffic and parking anyway as the S bahn to the city is very close. Nicely appointed room. Excellent breakfast. No negatives other than the tiny elevator.

Traditionsreiches Haus
Wir hatten ein schönes, sauberes Zimmer. Dieses war zum Innenhof gelegen, daher sehr ruhig. Sehr gutes Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen, tolles Ambiente im Restaurant und Frühstücksraum. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kostenloser, großer Stellplatz in der neuen Tiefgarage. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
