A beautifully renovated building with luxurious style, this genuinely is a boutique place to stay. A spacious and airy bedroom with large en-suite shower room, there’s space to work, relax and sleep.
Breakfast is amazing value at under €15 - a feast that’s freshly prepared and presented in the Fire Café next door (there’s an indoor route between the two buildings, served by staff who are friendly and very helpful - perfect.

We stayed 2 nights. I chose this hotel as it was slightly out of town and therefore has easy parking and is away from any potential noise from the downtown nightlife. It is a nice short walk though the adjacent park to the outer canal. The staff on reception and in the restaurant appear to be mostly students studying at the attached university. Chose this hotel for a one night stopover largely because it had a pool and after 6 hours driving (shared) being able to relax and have a swim sounded like a good idea. Booked a Lux room which was a relatively new addition to the hotel and it was really lovely great shower room and very spacious with a small outside space.
