"Liked: staff and service, cleaness, property condition, breakfast, location, working AC, amenities. Friendly and helpful staffs made me feel welcome and my stay very pleasant. I loved the spacious room with bright and modern deco. Breakfast included traditional Sicilian food which was special. The location was perfect - tucked away in a quiet plazza yet closed to all tourist attractions, central train station, and LiDL supermarket. I didn't find anything lacking from the hotel. "

"Kala Rooms were clean and in a good location close to the harbour and main shopping/eating old town tourism areas. The breakfast worked well across the plaza in front of Kala Rooms, with a hotel-provided coupon to a pastry shop for a wide variety of delicious fresh pastries and coffees."

"We did not use the Air conditioning because it was cool enough. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The staff are very friendly, even they don’t speak much English, but they tried to help us."

We basically had two separate bedrooms - my wife and I slept in one with the baby in the provided crib and the 3 older children all had single beds in the other room with the kitchen. Both rooms had a full bath. Table and chairs, small refrigerator, hot water kettle, cooktop, sink, and tableware all included. Only complaint is could have used a microwave. "The location was perfect for walking about with lots cute little shops and restaurants. The breakfast menu was great with a helpful staff. It felt a lot like Bourbon Street in Louisiana during the weekend with the street lined with happy people until the early morning. I ended up joining in my last night and had a fantastic time.
