The biggest bonus was a very good restaurant that opens everyday 11AM to 10 PM vs the majority of the restaurants that opens late for dinner. I find it convenient for us Americans who tend to eat dinner much earlier than the locals. Our host contacted us prior to our arrival and picked us up at the airport for a reasonable fee; he was on time picking...

Lots of space, comfortable. We were greeted by Luciano, he gave us information and a warm welcome. Extra parking arrangements were made in a secure parking location. "Sabina is a gracious host. The room was very clean, lovely and comfortable. The view from the balcony was exquisite. We were able to see the Teatro Massimo Bellini. The breakfast was simple yet delicious. We were within walking distance to several restaurants and the Palazzo. Definitely a great place to stay when in Catania. "

They were full of mostly people who speak Italian. That’s the kind of place I like to go when I’m traveling. I always keep my translator handy. Each restaurant did have one person who could speak fluent English. "
