"I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone visiting the Hakone/Odawara area. "

"Wonderful Stay in Hakone! The property is in a super convenient location, just a short walk to Hakone Yumoto shopping street, with two convenience stores nearby. There’s also a parking space available. The property itself is new, clean, and well-organized, with a cozy modern Japanese design that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The host left a very helpful instructional booklet describing how to use all of the amenities, and even instructions on how to best prepare the food. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay here again!!"

"The staff was really nice and understanding, even though our japanese level wasn't wonderful. The baths are clean and you might book your slots for each of the private bath in the planning. You can go to the public bath related to your gender any time. The dinner was so exhilarating and a wonderful insight of the japanese culture and gastronomy as for the breakfast. Thank you very much !. However it might be uneasy for people in wheelchairs to access to this Ryokan."
