"Took a deposit of 50$ and it has been close to a month now and still have not received my deposit back yet called the hotel and was told the system is down. Never asked for my phone number to call me back and rectify the situation feel like I was being blown off. Will never stay here again. Also found live cockroaches crawling in the bathroom absolutely disgusting. Bathroom was dirty had to go buy chemicals and clean it myself."

"I was charged over twice the allowable rate for this room which was clearly price gouging due to a local sports event abd the staff refused to help me with Expedia that refused to refund my credit card. The rooms have no phone jacks. If you travel without plugs, you can’t charge your devices. This is a very dated hotel, and while clean, is not as advertised and I’m reporting them to the AG."

"Holes in the curtains, terrible smell throughout the room, lumpy and saggy bed (yes, it was both) and the light in the bathroom had to be on a timer so you could forget about a nice long shower. I couldn’t stay and had to find another place to stay it was that bad"

"Clean and comfy room. No hotel breakfast but food options in hotel to purchase and lots of nearby coffee shops. Ample parking and safe area."

"Front Desk is extremely helpful and quick to resolve issues i had during my week long stay Shower and bathroom are the best maintained parts of my room, was disappointed to see several large cobwebs in all the corners of the ceiling in the rest of the room. Dishwasher and several kitchen towels are provided along with a decent sink but no soap to be found in the room."

"Great ambiance in a historic house with modern conveniences. Additionally it was a great deal economically especially as compared to the hotels nearby."

"Staff is friendly and willing to offer recommendations of nearby places to visit. Establishment was clean and well maintained. They have a beautiful display of live plants throughout the lobby providing a lovely welcoming feeling. I appreciated their large display of menus of nearby restaurants. If I visit Gettysburg again I will be using this location again."

"OK, this is not a fancy hotel. But for what I paid, I thought I got excellent value. The place was clean. My room was very comfortable. The staff was outstanding and helpful. There was a pet fee, but it wasn’t much None of these are always true when you say stay at a lesser priced motel, but I thought the Super eight in Gettysburg delivered excellent value for the price charge and I would highly recommend it. They are a superstar at this level of hotel and I’ve stated a lot of of Super eight...
