I loved the apartment, had a beautiful view of the ocean and the town. Comfy, two bathrooms and one bedroom, huge balcony, good kitchen, two TVs. Oceanfront on some of the nicest parts of Myrtle Beach. Clean, and great price. The main drag is only a few minutes by car, this is the quieter (and I would say nicer) part of town, less touristy, beach is beautiful and clean and the price was great. Parking garage is pretty good. Only drawback is having to check in a few blocks away certain times because there is not front desk staff 24-7. However I had a great experience and would definitely return.

The room was OK, but needed dusting, one of the chair, legs on the dining table was broken, the blinds will not work in the bedroom, so we had to manually close them and open them, one of the handles on the drawer in the kitchen was broken, and the sliding door to the patio was extremely hard to open and close. These things were reported to the hotel upon discharge and some before we were leaving, but nothing was done before we left.

1st unit had soiled sheets, terrible TV access, non-functioning sliding door to balcony, essentially couldn’t sit & take advantage of ocean view. We were moved to another unit, which took an entire day, that had a non-functioning thermostats so we were freezing all night as we weren’t able to control it. A small refund of 1/4 my total dollars layout was given (not yet credited) so awaiting that.

I was expecting a resort but unaware a broom/ dishpan or dish washer supplies was not available and not even a extra blanket for pullout couch no extra tissue 2rolls for 4 people no dish towels

Thank you for your feedback. Some units may have broom and dustpans as those are provided by the owner's however, guest may request these items and more from the Front Desk. This includes: dishwasher powder, extra linen for both bathroom and bedroom; tissues, toilet paper, bar soaps and trash bags.I do apologize for there not being additional linen for the pull-out sofa which should have been inside the bedroom closet. We wish to host your next get away and make up for the short-comings on this stay.

I liked the fact they kept the common areas clean. The employees there were helpful and friendly. The condo was spacious and comfortable. What I didn’t like that they did not clean the condo while we were there. You had to ask them if you needed towels or bed sheets changed.

Great Vacation at Forest Dunes Resort specially my first vacation in years since I work a lot and first at Resort. Staff Representative was very helpful, respectful and very informative during my stay and awesome Buckets Bar & Grill meals and spot located at Forest Dunes Resort was on point. I will be visiting again during my next vacation thank you expedited and Forest Dunes Resorts/Myrtle Beach SC.

The first room we where given was dirty. The bathroom looked filthy the kitchen refrigerator looked like it came out of an abandoned home. It was very uncomfortable. The second location that we switched to looked a little cleaner but it wasnt! You could barely get the air conditioner to come on, one of the beds where broken and you have to sit on it very slowly the sheets for the pull out couch caused my child to break out in a rash and his face and eye was swollen, the kitchen stove was broken.and looked unsafe.i feel like i was completely over charged for my accommodations fiven. I will never come back to forest dumes! EVER!

Location is great and it's in a very nice and quiet part of the beach. Very close to the beach and having 3 pools and 2 hot tubs is a plus! There is also a restaurant on the ground level so if you don't feel like going anywhere, thisnis a great option and drinks are good. The room has a nice set up with a full kitchen. The balcony is my most favorite part.

We stayed in room 301, I asked for accommodations for 3 adults. We got a king bed and pull out couch. This room should not be listed for the pull out couch, it was completely metal springs with the floor being more comfortable thank the mattress. I ended up having to go to target at spend $45 on an air mattress that we then left in the foot rest of the living room so hopefully the next person doesn’t have to pay to sleep on metal springs. That room should just be listed as a king bed not one that accommodates 4 adults. Will not stay at Forest Dunes again.

Thank you for your feedback. We do apologize that your stay was not to your liking. We do like the accommodation type on our website detailing the bedding type for each room category. Our king suites does sleep four persons when the pull-out sofa is utilized. We will definitely investigate the claim made in regards to the pull-out sofa. We do hope that you will give us another opportunity.

Price was reasonable. Very short walk to the beach. Just across the street. New small appliances in the kitchen. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, and flatware. Two coffee pots - one regular and one Keurig. Plenty of room in the living room/kitchen area. There was a full bath and a half bath. Obviously an attempt to freshen up the full bathroom. However, the paint job was lacking - needed another coat. Appears water had damaged the baseboards in the kitchen and bath which was poorly repaired. The condo is at the complete end of the building which meant we had to travel the entire building to get to the elevator that took us to the beach and the parking lot. The parking lot is separate from the building also on the opposite end from the elevator, which meant to get to the car we had to walk to the front of the building to catch the elevator and then walk to the back of the building where our car was parked. The decor was really nice. Lots of beach pictures and pillows. Very cute condo. We liked Forest Dunes but would not want to stay at that end of the building again.

Well it started off great. The front desk was friendly and also came up to help with the A/C. The parking garage said vehicles under 6' 8" should park on the 2nd floor. I pulled my truck up to the measuring bar and it was super close so I didn't want to risk it. I parked on the first floor. at 11:30 PM, we hear a loud knock as if the cops are outside. The security guards informed us if we didnt move our vehicle, it would be towed, at 1130 PM! So here we are, on an anniversary vacation, with no kids, and we are getting woken up at 1130 PM. I went down and moved my truck, and had about 2 inches of clearance, so it was close!. Also, it is worth mentioning, there were other open spots so it wasn't like I was taking a spot from someone. We then called the front desk and asked if there was a policy on what time they could wake there guests, because it seemed too late to us. She informed us that it was a courtesy call, rather than just towing it. We told them we understand the couteus call and it is appreciated, but if the tow truck isn't sitting out there waiting, could it not wait until the morning? To which she replied, "Well I will tell the security guards not to give you a courtesy call next time, and it will just be towed". Then hung up the phone. So they have weird policies where they can knock on your door at any time of the night because of "courtesy", which is a cover for them measuring and towing vehicles in the middle of the night while people are there on vacation.

The policy does stipulate that only vehicle 6ft 8in or higher park on the first level as per HOA regulations. In accordance with the protocol, the security guard, measures vehicles on the first level whether there are available spots or not. The security guards are not required to inform the guest verbally of any parking violation before having the vehicle towed.I also apologize for the response you received from the agent you spoke with about your experience.I hope you will visit us again in the future.

I loved everything about this place! We were off a quiet street, but still close enough to other things to do. The indoor/outdoor pools and outdoor hot tub was nice. The pictures of the room doesn’t do this place justice. All the staff was extremely friendly and polite. They truly value customer service and it shows! We will definitely be back.

Long Weekend Getaway
We were looking for a easy relaxing long weekend at the beach. Forest Dunes helped us make this possible. Room was clean, great ocean view and very quite. Weather was excellent and the poolside setup was wonderful as well. Will consider staying at Forest Dunes on future beach trips.

the heating unit was very noisy (seems old!)but beside this no complaint! Danielle :) The fact that the condo was on 4th floor was perfect. We have loved the large patio on the second floor for morning coffee and the apero on the balcony! great place to stay for sure... It was affordable ocean view and access. Only complaints are only one working elevator and condition of sofa bed was poor. Uncomfortable to sleep in and filled with pet dander and I have terrible allergy to it so sleep was not comfortable entire stay. Employees were so sweet, friendly and helpful. This was my first time staying in a condo and it was very nice! It was quiet, a close walk to the beach, and was accessorized with anything I needed. Only problem was that only one elevator was working and the front desk was short staffed. I would stay here again in a minute!

The room looked nothing like in the pictures. It looked like it hasn't been updated since the 90’s. Our friends stayed in a different room and it was really nice, ours was trash. Very disappointed.

The rooms are not updated at all. There’s tons of rust on refrigerators. Toilets constantly run , The staff is unfriendly & unhelpful. I may have met 1 friendly staff member at the desk during my 8 day stay . The swimming pools were too cold to swim in & we asked daily multiple times for a heater to be put on to warm the pool at least slightly . For 1600 for a week , the pool should be 24hrs especially because security stays there all night . I definitely would not stay again just due to multiple issues that were not addressed.

We left our stay at forest dunes a day early because we just could not take the grossness any longer. This property is awful. I took pictures to show the dirt, roaches, and disrepair. We will never stay here again. We couldn’t even lock the balcony door and the balcony next door was close enough for someone to climb over to ours.
