We stayed in early March and restaurant wasn't open until later and seemed to close early. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Had a stove, small fridge, microwave, and toaster in the room, which was great. Walls seemed to be quite thin as it was pretty noisy at night. Doors slamming and people talking outside felt like it was right beside me. Multiple restaurants within walking distance as well as a Dollar General etc.

We enjoy staying at The Breakers. First time we were in Paradise building, this time in Dunes. Only negative part was the plug by the microwave kept tripping even without it being used - aggravating when trying to charge phones/watches and the light by the bed wouldn’t stay on. Otherwise, all was well and we will return!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Breakers! Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Pools were clean, and we loved having a variety of pool options (indoor/outdoor/slides/hot tubs). Restaurants/coffee shops nearby were also very convenient. We would definitely stay again!

There was no ocean or beach view from our room. Check in went smooth with a very friendly lady. Then she sent us to another lady that tried to get us to do a time share presentation, ugh. The room was very dimmly lit, when we found out how to turn on the light, hint it was not the light switch. The light switch didn't do anything. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The room we got was right next to the elevator and you could hear everyone's conversation. There were workers banging on pipes, I called the front desk to ask them to stop and the front desk told me there was nothing they could do about workers. Not a good place to stay, do not recommend.

Great stay. Big, clean accomodations with all of the amenities. Friendly staff, easy walk across the street to the oceanfront. Access to lots of pools and beachfront. Property is close to everything. Excellent housekeeping. Highly recommend for a vacation stay for sure. Only one thing, not the properties fault. The dunes property across the street, where my room was located, is extremely noisy. Loud cars and motorcycles roar by 24/7. Tough to handle and sleep through. Other than that a great stay!

Yes view was great. Everything was great about the stay. I did not like the mattresses too firm for my taste but I did sleep okay. If I stay again l will take a pillow topper with me for the bed mattress. Other than that stay was great will go to breakers again Also not enough Handicap parking for me only 4 places that were always full. Parking is terrible in all hotels in Mrytle beach. Only go off season like we did otherwise way too crowded. We went in February.

Staff was helpful. Pools were clean and pretty warm for as cold as it was outside. Good location on beach and near boardwalk and restaurants and shopping. Would stay here again .

The room was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is in direct communication with you via text and quick to respond and get you what you need. The check in was kinda confusing because it wasn’t clearly marked outside when checkin was. It was very busy out front and that was difficult. The coffee maker had an old coffee left in it but otherwise it was gorgeous! The first night of our stay there was a large group of high school(maybe college) age young folks at the indoor pool/outdoor part of lazy river and that area. We were on the 5th floor oceanfront and they were very loud and using very vulgar language that we could hear clearly in our room. It was fairly early, around 9pm, so we let it go. At 930 our 4 kids wanted to go down to the pool before going to bed and were afraid to because of what they could hear in our room. They could also look at the chaos from our room. The people were running and jumping into the lazy river, walking and wrestling in the lazy river etc. My 14 year old son was recovering from the flu and my 10 year old daughter got it on our second day. We were trying to make the best of our short time at the resort and couldn’t that night. Security didn’t seem concerned and just watched. The checkout was smooth but we were unaware of security deposit. Slides are very hard/tough and the kids didn’t enjoy them and only rode once so activities were limited. If aware we would have booked elsewhere

The room looked nothing like the photos. Very old hotel that shouldn’t be advertised as a resort. I ended losing $400. I went to another hotel on Valentine Day weekend and hard to spend twice as much for a late booking.

Overall it was a great stay! Staff is super nice and helpful! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable! Our suit had everything we needed. My two complaint would be that when listing the tower across the street in Expedia, it should not picture an oceanfront view of a room. That particular tower (called the Dunes Tower). Is not oceanfront. That picture is misleading. Upon checking in and seeing that we ended up upgrading to an oceanfront suit. Which was actually the room pictured in the ad. I am sure they do this for a reason. My second complaint would be on Friday, the entire hotel plus 19 blocks lost power. I definitely understand that this was a town issue and not a hotel issue. However, we were located on the 12th floor and when power went out we were at the hotel lounge and ordered a small appetizer. Our vehicle key was in our room. So we were left with 4 hours of no electricity or ability to get ready for dinner. By the time power came back it was close to 9pm. This was extremely unfortunate. My complaint would be that the hotel did not offer any accommodations to guests. I know that that would have been challenging alone, but I do think there should have been a plan for guests or some sort of compensation, even if it was free breakfast or something. Overall we would stay here again!

Bathroom was not clean, the carpet was dirty throughout the room, the room was more worn than the photos, and parking for check in was an issue.
