My suite was dirty; the sofa bed sheets were soiled, and there was no bedspread or towels in the bathroom. The bathroom door kept getting stuck, as did the balcony doors—making it difficult to get out in an emergency since they didn't open easily. We didn't use the TV because the remote had no batteries. The price was too high for a hotel of this quality; we’ve stayed in better places for the same price, but it was a quick trip, and there was no availability at the hotels we usually book , the hot tub not working 🤦‍♀️☹️ The reception staff were very friendly, but the hotel is definitely not good

The property definitely looks better online. It is a small property in the middle of 2 bigger hotels. The hot tub was empty & the pool needed to be clean. Shower pressure was terrible. There was also an odor in the room & hallways. Mildew or an aged odor. It was just ok. Had to make the best of it. Definitely not what I expected.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Willow Bay. Check in was a breeze and the room exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the furniture appeared to be brand new. The view of the Ocean was perfect for hanging out and enjoying a drink. Willow Bay has a great location right on the beach with lots of restaurant options near by. The pool and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We love coming to Myrtle Beach and we will definitely be coming back to Willow Bay.

The hotel looks nothing like it does online, it’s run down. The window was cracked in the living room area. One of the rooms in our suite was missing the television and our kitchen didn’t come with any cooking utensils. When we brought up the missing television and cooking utensils we were told it’s nothing they could do because they didn’t have any other televisions and wouldn’t offer any other accommodations. The pots and pans they tried to give us were rusted very badly. Customer service was not the worst but not good either. One of the staff members dropped my grandmother’s things down the stairs. Don’t be fooled into booking, it’s nothing like the site and the price is ridiculous for how bad it is. The manager wouldn’t even come out the office to speak with us about this concerns, instead relayed messages through the receptionist. Save your money.

If you do anything before booking your stay at Willow Bay, let it be reading this review. The pictures are DECEIVING. When we arrived, the front desk was not welcoming. What appeared to be the maintenance man, was over welcoming in a weird way. When we entered the unit, we were in disbelief. There was sand throughout the floors, the windows were cloudy, the view from the balcony on the 2nd floor was railing and a dirty hot tub. The fixtures in the bathroom were either missing or rusted. The kitchen sink disposal didn’t work and was backed up. The smell was HORRENDOUS. We didn’t receive any new towels during the stay and ZERO house keeping. The unit kept cool except in the bedroom. Despite keeping the door open 24/7 for the air to circulate, we slept with the blankets off. The door to the balcony was rusted and required force to shut it, lock it, and open it. You had to turn the knob just to lock it. We left earlier than our check out date because of how dirty we felt. We couldn’t wait to come home to shower with actual water pressure and cleanliness. The refrigerator had visibly not been cleaned out in who knows how long. You could hear the doors slamming shut throughout all of the units. This place is ran down and needs to be shut down. I’m disappointed in myself for paying to help keep this “resort” in business.

This was a very quiet and cozy not crowded spot for our family on a last minute vacation. We were pleased overall does seem to be some upgrading going on. The house keeper was wonderful very nice accommodating lady. We very much enjoyed our visit.
