My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Willow Bay. Check in was a breeze and the room exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and the furniture appeared to be brand new. The view of the Ocean was perfect for hanging out and enjoying a drink. Willow Bay has a great location right on the beach with lots of restaurant options near by. The pool and grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We love coming to Myrtle Beach and we will definitely be coming back to Willow Bay.

The view from the balcony faced the ocean . I spent a good deal of time on the terrace. The room was fantastically furnished and clean . Quiet and clean . Great value and will definitely be back

The property is old and needs maintenance, the pools and hot tub along with rooms were not well maintained. Beds were old and creepy. Ocean view was good but the price for the property did not meet its standards. The kitchen in the unit had hardly anything to cook and eat in. Reception staff was good and polite.

This was a very quiet and cozy not crowded spot for our family on a last minute vacation. We were pleased overall does seem to be some upgrading going on. The house keeper was wonderful very nice accommodating lady. We very much enjoyed our visit.

The property is conveniently located with beach access, but it’s just dated. Luggage carts sit “conveniently” in front of piles of garbage. Low water pressure in the unit. We enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn’t rebook in the future.

The pictures do not match the condition of the property. I also met many people in the hallway who felt the same. It is in very poor condition. Our room was not cleaned well and we swept a large amount of trash up 5 minutes walking in. We also purchased cleaning supplies to clean because it was so dirty. The lamp shades had holes, the utility closet dripped from upstairs and was moldy, the chairs were faded, the furniture was scratched. Our utility closet began to leak on the second day and we had to put out pots and pans to catch the water. For the quoted price, what we were given did not match the price. At all. The hallways were dirty and needed vacuuming and smelled like mildew. If this hotel plans to charge a large fee per night, the rooms need to match the price covered. Absolutely not. The only upside was Mary was very nice and we were right on the beach. Disappointed in my stay and I regret that I cannot recommend to others. Please be careful of this hotels high rating. I was fooled sadly. I truly wish I could upload the pictures I took from this stay to show the condition of this hotel.

Everyone at the front desk was really nice. Room was clean.. however I was a little disappointed that nothing looked like what the photos advertised. Shower pressure was terrible..but the beds were comfy. I did feel a little uneasy as a mom traveling with her two kids.. but everything ended up being ok & it got the job done.

Very dirty overall. Communal trash in hallway was not emptied from Thursday to Sunday, smelled. Showers had minimal water pressure and everything was in need on a good scrubbing.

This property view was awesome. But the property itself was worst. It was having roaches spiders. We booked their best priced room still it was like that. No hair dryer in the room. No one in reception ever. Landry machines took money didn't work.

4-Star Review for Willow Bay Check-in was super easy—they sent all the information straight to my phone, which made the process quick and stress-free. My family and I were initially happy with our room, but as the evening went on, we ran into a couple of issues that unfortunately couldn’t be resolved right away. Thankfully, the host/receptionist Angie was incredibly helpful. She immediately contacted the manager and got us a complimentary upgrade to a better room! Thanks to Angie and the rest of the Willow Bay staff, we were able to relax and truly enjoy the rest of our vacation. Their quick response and commitment to guest satisfaction really made a difference. We appreciate the excellent service and would definitely stay here again.
