"We had. booked for 2 nights, but when we entered the room, we were hit with an unpleasant smell. The fixtures, carpet and furnishings were old. We called the front desk and asked them to cancel the second night, which they kindly said they would and even verified it when checking out. Two weeks later we received our CC statement and found we were charged for both nights. We had gone through a third party to book and they tried to get confirmation of the cancellation so they could facilitate the refund, but the motel refused. Poor, poor quality at the "Quality Inn""
