"We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and been really pleased with the experience. This time it was mixed. The public room was pleasant and it was good to see a real fire. When we arrived we had a drink from the bar and were lucky to get seats next to the fire and were nice and cosy. "The Chateau is beautiful in all respects. The Chateau itself is wonderfully preserved, the rooms are spacious with views of the vineyards, the staff is exceptional (we were on the second floor and they helped carry our heavy cases upstairs with a smile!) and the grounds are stunning. The wine tasting is a must do - with an ontological experience before the tastings - and the wines are great. Highly recommend. "
